Englewood Kroger Marketplace  Noted children’s book
author Marcella Barrett,
who has been recently featured
at The Children’s
Book Festival at the Greene
and on TV 2, TV 7, and the
Dayton Daily News, will be
doing a book reading and
book signing of her new children’s
book “And The Tree
Cried Out” at the Kroger Marketplace in Englewood
on Feb. 15 from 10 a.m.
until 4 p.m.Barrett is a 6th grade math and science teacher at Valerie Elementary School and writes children’s books to t e a c h sound values to students. “And The Tree Cried Out” has an interesting story and can be used as a tool for discussion to teach children to respect the environment, each other, especially those who are different, and the elderly. |
